Essential Emergency and Critical Care Course Training at MUHAS
We are delighted to share the successful completion of the first Essential Emergency and Critical Care (EECC) course training, held from 3rd–5th August 2026 at the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS).
A total of 26 participants were trained, gaining essential knowledge and practical skills in the recognition and management of acutely ill patients and the delivery of emergency and critical care.
This marks the beginning of a series of EECC trainings, with more courses planned in the future as we continue to expand access to essential emergency and critical care training and strengthen the healthcare workforce in Tanzania.
A big appreciation to the organizing committee ( Department of Anaesthesia and the POETIC team) , our dedicated facilitators, and all the participants for their commitment, enthusiasm, and contribution to making this first training a success.
