Essential Emergency and Critical Care (EECC) workshop was successfully conducted at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) from 22–24 January 2026, strengthening the capacity of healthcare workers to save lives through early identification and timely management of critical illness.
The training emphasized low-cost, high-impact interventions aligned with WHO EECC recommendations. Delivered as part of a monthly programme running over two years, the initiative is driving sustainable improvements in the quality of care for critically ill patients across KCMC and the wider Kilimanjaro region.
Together, we can strengthen emergency and critical care systems and save more lives , support, partner, and help scale EECC implementation.
